Code of Conduct

Introduction

In the Elimika Foundation, members are expected to uphold high standards of behavior and collaboration to foster a productive and positive environment. Section 4 of the constitution outlines the code of conduct, including expectations and consequences for non-compliance:

1. Behavioral Expectations:

  • Respect and Integrity: Members are expected to treat one another with respect and maintain integrity in all interactions. This includes showing consideration for others’ opinions during meetings and ensuring that all contributions are constructive.
  • Honesty and Loyalty: Members should act with honesty and loyalty to the foundation’s mission, avoiding any actions that may harm the foundation’s reputation or operations​.
  • Moral and Ethical Conduct: Members must exhibit good moral character, discipline, and uphold the ethical standards outlined by the foundation. This includes adhering to principles of accountability, reliability, and transparency in their dealings with other members and external stakeholders​.

2. Collaboration and Cooperation:

Elimika Foundation believes in collaboration with various stakeholders including other organizations, faith-based organizations, and individuals who share the same vision as Elimika. We are open to collaboration provided that we all believe and uphold the same values and that we are committed to serving the community. Some of the areas in which we are seeking collaboration and cooperation include  

  • Financial Support: Elimika depends on kind donations and funding from stakeholders in order to maintain its operations.  
  • Time and personnel commitment: To fulfill its responsibilities, Elimika works with a diverse range of individuals, each with specialized training. Owing to the nature of these duties, the Elimika Foundation greatly values the availability and dedication of its collaborators.
  • Material support:  In implementing different programs various tools are needed, like projectors, sport gears, etc 

Constructive Feedback: We believe that in order to have programs that are successful and efficient, our services need to be continuously improved. Constructive criticism from the community and other stakeholders helps achieve this. Positive criticism that will enable us to enhance the community services we provide is welcome.
